As the key to long term adoption of greener energy sources lies widespread in understanding the impact that fossil fuels has on our environment, it may be helpful to understand the process by which electricity is made in the first place.
The below video from the Government of Ontario seeks to explain how electricity is made. The video covers everything from the initial conception of electricity around 200 years ago, which simply used a metal coil and a magnet, to how that same concept has been adapted to power much larger areas, such as the province of Ontario.
