Legend Power Systems Inc. (TSX-V: LPS) (“Legend”) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new directors, Mr. Matthew Walker and Mr. Jamie Blundell.
Matthew Walker began his career in commercial real estate in 1996 with Avison Young, a North American commercial real-estate firm with 53 continent wide offices. He became a principal at Avison Young’s Vancouver office in 2001 and holds a number of professional designations. He brings with him a unique and comprehensive understanding of investment sales, property management and leasing market knowledge. His international reach and understanding of key real estate market dynamics in North American will greatly assist Legend as it develops an expansion strategy into other markets.
Jamie Blundell brings over 20 years of experience in senior management roles. He has a broad range of experience and operational expertise in rapidly growing companies, has directly managed over 500 employees, and has had extensive dealings with private equity firms and large corporate divestitures. With his diversified cross functional work experience and knowledge of international markets, he has been an integral part of numerous turn around and growth situations. Mr. Blundell earned an executive MBA from Queens University in 2000, has been recognized as a top performer throughout his career and has a track record of business success.
