Burnaby, B.C. – Legend Power Systems Inc. (“Legend”) (TSX-V: LPS) is pleased to announce the execution of an international distribution agreement (the “Agreement”) with Energy Optimisa Holdings (Pty) Limited (“Energy Optimisa”), an established voltage optimization company based in Cape Town, South Africa. The territory covered by the agreement includes South Africa and Sub-Sahara Africa with exclusivity based on established order volume. The Agreement is for a term of six years with the option to extend by an additional 4 years.
Energy Optimisa is a well-established South African business, specializing in supply side energy efficiency technologies. With a growing customer base and a track record of success, Energy Optimisa is well positioned both in their home territory of South Africa and through established relationships with resellers in the emerging Sub Saharan market. Energy Optimisa has successfully installed Legend’s energy saving device, the Electrical Harmonizer, in multiple retail locations across South Africa and a number of projects are currently underway.
