The 21st Conference of the Parties is coming to Paris, November 30th.
In just a few short weeks, the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will convene in Paris, France. COP21, which is also known as the 2015 Paris Climate Conference, will be taking place this year between November 30th and December 11th in the Le Bourget area of Paris. Due to the expectation that COP21 will address the increasingly prevalent effects of climate change with a legally binding agreement, this year’s Paris Climate Conference has been gaining international attention throughout 2015. The anticipated agreement would seek to keep global warming below 2 degrees Celsius and would be applicable to all of the parties in an effort to mitigate the effects of climate change before it’s too late.
