Legend Power Systems, Inc. (LPS.V) (“LPS”) is pleased to announce acceptance to the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Efficiency Market Partner Program offered by Con Edison, a top 10 U.S. utility serving the five boroughs of New York and Westchester County. Market Partner status in the C&I Program will foster unique opportunities for LPS to showcase its innovative technology to Con Edison customers.
Program participants like LPS also obtain a listing with Honest Buildings, an affiliated online marketplace that connects LPS with the most forward thinking owners and managers of real estate across the Greater New York area.
“With the highest concentration of buildings that fit our target criteria, a progressive real estate community, and fertile energy efficiency incentives, New York represents the largest singular market opportunity for us”, says Randy Buchamer, President and CEO. “We are excited to launch our Conservation Voltage Reduction (CVR) technology here in 2016 and for the chance to participate in Con Edison’s Market Partner Network.”
As a participant in the Market Partner network, Legend Power will work with local customers to apply for valuable Con Edison incentives for energy efficient retrofits. A successful launch into New York City is an imperative win for Legend Power Systems as preparations for major U.S. expansion get underway, beginning with the North East and Mid-Atlantic states over the course of 2016.
