Projected Global Affects of Climate Change

An infographic detailing the places and people that are being increasingly affected by climate change and what must be done to stop it.

As described in the below infographic by the World Bank, Climate Extremes, Regional Impacts and the Case for Resilience, the dramatic change in our planet’s climate and weather patterns are being felt more and more all over the world. Simply put, rising global temperatures are drastically impacting many people and places. As a result, it is no surprise that a collective concern for the wellbeing of our planet is on the rise, right alongside global temperatures.

Although the infographic outlines the bleak future that a warmer world would bring, it is also hopeful that we can still correct our current course and achieve a more optimistic one. Suggesting that together the world can initiate change and implement concerted action, the infographic makes it’s case for resiliency among the world’s population, listing several actionable steps that can and should be taken. Among a few of the recommendations is that we must begin to prioritize building low-carbon, climate resilient cities, while also accelerating our energy efficiency efforts.

Legend Power Systems (LPS) is proud to support both of these initiatives with our energy saving solution, the Harmonizer. By enabling buildings to lower their carbon output and greenhouse gas emissions, while assisting commercial and industrial buildings to operate more efficiently, LPS shares the World Banks optimistic outlook on our future.
