U.S. Department of Energy -Evaluation of Conservation Voltage Reduction (CVR) on a National Level

This report has developed an estimate of the benefits of Conservation Voltage Reduction (CVR) for individual distribution feeder types, as well as an extrapolation of the benefits on a national level. Simulations were conducted using the GridLAB-D simulation environment, developed at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), as well as the Taxonomy of Prototypical Feeders developed under the Modern Grid Initiative (MGI), now the Modern Grid Strategy (MGS).
